Hi Sharon,

I loved your lively discussion of the personal vs impersonal (not to be confused with uncaring) aspects of God. I hadn't thought of energy in this way before. The simplicity of attention yielding results belies the complex tasks achieved within this mindset. As a youth I was introduced to the opposite principle "what you resist, persists". I like the balance I experience when I remember both.

Hi Lana,

That's interesting. I don't remember ever hearing either saying. But you're right, they do show a balance. And both speak of an impersonal force. I guess it's sort of a built-in, natural force, like gravity. In fact, it's a lot like gravity. Thanks for that insight!

Enjoyed this post.

You are here. You have been placed exactly here. Choose your path wisely, in communion with HIM.

EVERY choice, you make either takes you further away, closer, or orbiting your Creator. The

Omnipotent Is evident in everything as His energy constitutes everything. He exist, as; not in, and He

defines infinite dimensions. No matter which point of view you take, you can either see or ignore and

try to separate yourself from I AM. Every thought you have is within His vision, freedom, power... no

matter where you are in his infinite space, no matter how good or evil you are, you are within the

bounds of His boundless love. Your Freedom is His ultimate elemental gift of Love. You are free to

choose to bloom or perish, every day.

Yes. I so agree, Gary. I have a mental model of God as super-concentrated energy at the center of the universe which then dissipates into less-concentrated energy the further away you are from the center / the source. In this model, hell is at such a great distance from the center that most of the energy (and the love) is dissipated (but never completely gone). It is the lack of energy and love that makes hell unbearable.

The concept of infinite cannot be fully understood. In my limited mind, I think that since God is Infinite, He is everywhere at once. However scripture speaks of Hell being eternal fire, punishment and separation from Him, (by personal choice that at some point becomes irrevocable). To my limited mind, this is one of the things that I do not understand. How can one be separated from God Who Is everywhere. Is there an evil or anti-Love dimension that somehow is created outside or buried deep within the universe, or is it banishment from existence except for the pain of separation from Him where He doesn't have even a passing thought of those who have chosen evil?

My years playing with high dimensionality data have given me an ability to "understand" and "grasp" high dimensionality in a primitive way. But, the brain is not infinite, so it can not really begin to model God, who is infinite in everything. Suffice to say God is Love and Love can be rejected.
